NZBIO Symposium: Fermentation Technology in New Zealand: Wellington, Wednesday October 11th.

Total Lab is proud to sponsor the NZBIO Symposium. To complement the NZBIO annual conference, a technical symposium will be held, which will explore the status of fermentation in New Zealand.  This event is aimed at scientists, technologists and engineers.  The speakers will cover state-of-the-art work in fermentation across a variety of sectors, including industrial products, food and dairy.  Speaker talks will take place during the morning of October 11th at Te Wharewaka o Poneke, the same Wellington CBD venue as will be used for NZBIO’s annual conference.  In the afternoon, delegates will travel to Callaghan Innovation’s Gracefield campus (Lower Hutt).  The symposium will continue in the afternoon with the opportunity to view the fermentation capabilities available in Gracefield, plus additional talks and a discussion panel workshop.  At the end of the day, delegates will travel back to Wellington central.  An optional tour of Black Dog Brewery will be available for those participants who want to further their exploration of fermentation technology (and products!) in the early evening. 
This symposium represents NZBIO’s continuing work to provide events of interest to the technical community in New Zealand.  They are pleased to bring Dr Colin South, an ex-pat kiwi with twenty years’ international experience in fermentation businesses to New Zealand to talk at this event.
